As for me, cats are the best pets in WoW. I also like bears and wolves, but cat is my favorite pet.

Even though WOW Pets do have some limited capabilities such as fighting, similar to real life pets they really don't do much of anything except provide companionship. With the popularity of the game World of Warcraft on the internet, many players are being left behind in what should be called The Gold Rush. Of course the game can be played without having a lot of gold, but it definitely is difficult to do so. In World of Warcraft, gold is almost like your lifeline. It helps you grow, helps you purchase things, gives you edge over your enemies, and most of all, it helps you gain even more gold if you have it.
Unfortunately, it's not as easy to get as one might think. And it's possible that the game's creator made it out to be like that, but many players are turning to alternate sources to find that rare gold. One of these alternate sources include buying the gold with real money from someone they know or from someone that has it advertised on the internet ready to buy. Buying World of Warcraft gold does have it's benefits of course: it will help you get through the game quicker, easier than before, and it will help power level your character. But whether or not one should buy World of Warcraft gold is much to be debated.
First of all, one of the major tasks of the game is to seek out and farm whatever gold you can, and as much of it as you can. If you take away that major task and buy the gold outright from someone who already has it, what is left? Of course there are plenty of quests and journeys in World of Warcraft besides finding gold, but gold is what helps you do that. You take away your need to find gold and you just have one character wandering around in the game.
Second, what is the next thing that will be made into a shortcut? Will someone figure out how to make the quests shorter but produce larger returns so that the character can continue on? What else will be bypassed? By turning World of Warcraft gold into a shortcut, what else will happen to shorten the length of time it takes the character in the game?
If one can play World of Warcraft for hours on end, then why all the hype about buying gold from another player outright? All one has to do is sit down at the game and figure out strategies in order to gain more gold, which will help other aspects of your character throughout the game. It can be thought of as one big thinking, mind game. In real life, you can't always take these shortcuts by bypassing something obvious. No, you have to deal with what you have and enable yourself to make more of what you have if you need it.
On the other hand, if you are one of those many players that have more money than time purchasing gold can actually help you get some more enjoyment out of the game. Bottom line is like with everything there is a good and a bad associated with it. World of Warcraft is no exception to this. So, to really answer the question I see all the time...Should I buy gold or not?
The answer may surprise you....maybe. It all really depends on you and what you want to accomplish in the game.
